TheApeHands
It all starts with 3,333 Apehands. We never thought of them as separate pieces, but as the first members of something meant to grow over time, the way a family grows.
Each Apehand was born in January 2025, generated from its own combination of traits: background, extras, eyes, fur, head, mouth. Six categories, over a hundred variations between them, and the result is always the same: no two Apehands are alike. Each one has its own identity, the way any member of a family would.
So that community would have a solid foundation to grow on, we chose to build TheApeHands on ApeChain — a Layer 2 on Ethereum, powered by ApeCoin and backed by the entire BAYC ecosystem.
Why does this matter? Because it means every Apehand lives on infrastructure that's secure, fast, and affordable, backed by one of the biggest, most established ecosystems in all of Web3. We're not building on sand. We're building on a foundation that's already proven it can hold entire communities.
